Scott County Child Predator Sentenced For Production Of Child Pornography

LEXINGTON, KY.- On Tuesday, a 49-year-old Georgetown, Kentucky, man, and convicted child sex offender learned he will be just around eighty years old when he is finally released from federal prison, after being sentenced for a federal child pornography offense.
According to Acting U.S. Attorney Paul McCaffrey, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, George Michael Brock, Jr., 49, of Georgetown, Kentucky, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Karen Caldwell to 348 months in federal prison, to be followed by a lifetime of supervised release, after pleading guilty to Production of Child Pornography.
According To Court Documents
According to the charging information and statements made in the District Court, in 2016, law enforcement Officials received multiple reports that an adult male, later identified as Brock, utilized a Social Media application, MeetMe, to lure underage minors into nude online modeling. In 2018, Brock was convicted on Kentucky State charges of use of a communication system to procure a minor and was sentenced to one year in state prison.
When he was released from state prison in July 2019, Kentucky State Law required Brock to be subject to sex offender supervision and registration requirements for a term of five years.
Will Under State Supervision Brock Began Communicating With Children Again
On January 11, 2023, while still under supervision and sex offender registration requirements, Brock utilized Skype to begin communicating with a child. Brock directed the child to capture sexually explicit images of themselves. The child complied with Brock’s requests, and Skype records also revealed similar conversations with multiple other children. Brock shared the digital images and video files with his friends that he had obtained from the child victims through the internet.
   Acting U.S. Attorney McCaffrey commended the investigative work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Georgetown Police Department, which led to the successful prosecution of Brock.Â
