Bergen County Man Charged With Criminal Sexual Contact

RIVER EDGE, NJ.- On Saturday, following an investigation, a 56-year-old Fair Lawn, New Jersey, man, employed as a masseur at a River Edge spa, was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a female customer.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, members of the Oradell Police Department and the River Edge Police Department contacted Detectives of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an allegation of a sexual assault that had occurred at the River Edge Foot Spa in River Edge, New Jersey, and an investigation was launched.
Detectives Determine That Yang Committed Unlawful Sexual Contact
During a swift-moving investigation, Detectives of the Bergen County Special Victims Unit and the River Edge Police Department determined that Aidong Yang, 56, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, committed an act of criminal sexual contact against a woman while performing a massage at the spa.
Accordingly, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, Yang was taken into custody in River Edge, New Jersey, and formally charged with one count of fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact. Yang was processed on the charge and was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending future court proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
