WINDSOR, CT.- Last Thursday, following a federal online child enticement investigation, a 31-year-old Windsor, Connecticut, man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with allegedly enticing an 11-year-old child and a 13-year-old child to send him digital images and video files of themselves engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

According to U.S. Attorney David X. Sullivan, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, Christopher Rodriduez, 31, of Windsor, Connecticut, was taken into custody and charged by federal criminal complaint with two counts of Coercion and Enticement of a Minor to Engage in Sexually Explicit Conduct.

Rodriguez made his initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert A. Richardson in Federal Court in Hartford, Connecticut, and was ordered detained pending future court proceedings.

According To Charging Information Filed In The Complaint

According to the charging information filed in the criminal complaint, in October and November 2023, Rodriguez utilized two Social Media platforms, LiveIn and Discord, to communicate with an 11-year-old girl in Florida and coerced her to send him a sexually explicit video of herself.

Then again, in November and December 2023, Rodriguez, posing as a teenager, communicated with a 13-year-old girl from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, utilizing the Social Media platforms Discord and iMessage to engage in sexually explicit conversations with her, during which he coerced her to send him sexually explicit digital images and video files of herself. He sent the girl sexually explicit digital images, which he claimed were of himself.

If convicted at trial, Rodriguez faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years and up to life in federal prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000. At sentencing, upon a finding of guilt, a U.S. District Court Judge would determine the term of imprisonment based on the seriousness of the offenses and Rodriguez’s prior criminal history. Rodriguez would also be required to register as a sex offender in the national database.
