The Fatal Shooting Occurred Saturday Morning
The charges stem from an investigation that began on Saturday, September 6, 2025, when, at around 11:00 a.m., members of the Jackson Township Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting gunfire and an unresponsive woman lying in the roadway at the Paragon Apartment complex located on Larsen Road in the Township.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a woman, identified as Ms. Reid, having succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, lying near the exit of the apartment complex. Additional responding Police Officers spotted a man, later identified as Green, running on North New Prospect Road. Green was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jackson Township Police Headquarters, where an investigation ensued.
