Tulsa Child Predator Sentenced For Sexually Enticing A Pennsylvania Child

HARRISBURG, PA.- A 37-year-old Tulsa, Oklahoma, child predator will be spending over a decade in federal prison, after being sentenced for sexually enticing a 13-year-old Pennsylvania child and engaging in sexual intercourse with her at a local Pennsylvania hotel.
According to Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus, on Friday, September 5, 2025, James Cody Duncan, 37, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Keli M. Neary to 130 months in federal prison, to be followed by ten years of supervised release for a federal charge of enticing a child to engage in sexual activity.
Duncan Pleads Guilty To The Charge In November 2024
Duncan previously appeared in Federal Court in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on November 13, 2024, and pleaded guilty to Coercion and Enticement of a Minor. In addition to the term of imprisonment, Duncan will be required to register as a sex offender in the national database.
According To Court Documents
According to charging documents and statements made in the District court, beginning in August 2022, Duncan began communicating online with and began an online relationship with a 13-year-old Lewiston, Pennsylvania, girl. During the course of the online relationship, Duncan sent the child gifts, including cellular phones that she would use to communicate with him.
After eight months of communications, Duncan traveled from Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Pennsylvania and engaged in sexual activity, including sexual intercourse with the child, at a local hotel.
   Acting U.S. Attorney Gurganus commended the investigative work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police, which led to the successful prosecution of Duncan.Â
