Teenager Struck By Gunfire Early This Morning In The City Of Passaic

PASSAIC, NJ.- Detectives of the Passaic Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting that occurred just before daybreak this morning in the City of Passaic, leaving a teenager hospitalized from a gunshot wound.

     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, September 12, 2025, just minutes before 5:00 a.m., members of the Passaic Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call in the area of Henry Street and Myrtle Avenue, reporting a juvenile suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police Officers Find Teen Suffering From A Gunshot Wound

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located the teen and rendered immediate medical aid; the teen was then transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, for treatment. The teen’s condition is unknown at this time.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
