WASHINGTON, D.C.- Last Friday, following a trial in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, a jury found a 33-year-old Washington, D.C., man, and a previously convicted sexual abuser, guilty of misdemeanor sexual assault with a felony enhancement for sexually abusing five women at various Metropolitan Transit Stations.

According to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro, on Friday, September 12, 2025, a jury found Nicholis Dorsey, 33, of Washington, D.C., guilty of six counts of misdemeanor Sexual Abuse with a Felony Enhancement and Aggravating Circumstances. Dorsey had been previously convicted of sexually assaulting three additional women; all eight women were unknown to him. Following the jury returning their findings of guilt, Superior Court Judge Michael Ryan accepted the verdict and scheduled sentencing for November 14, 2025.

According To The Evidence Presented At Trial

According to the evidence and testimony presented during the trial, beginning in January 2025 and lasting through March 2025, Dorsey approached five women at various times and at various Metropolitan Transit Stations and assaulted them by touching their buttocks or inner thighs. After each assault. Dorsey would then antagonize each of his victims by engaging in prolonged staring and, at times, laughing at them.

After committing the assaults, Dorsey would promptly leave the stations. In response, Detectives of the Metro Transit Police Department created lookout flyers using screenshots from station surveillance cameras depicting Dorsey.

With the help of quick-acting Special Police Officers and Officers from the Metro Transit Police Department, Dorsey was taken into custody on March 5, 2025, just shortly after the final assault, and has remained in custody since that date. Based on the screenshots in the lookout flyers, Dorsey confirmed his identity to Detectives during an interview after being taken into custody.
