NEW HAVEN, CT.- On Thursday, a 33-year-old former Hartford, Connecticut, man, who is a known convicted local drug dealer, learned he will be spending nearly the next six years in federal prison after being sentenced for distributing fentanyl and cocaine throughout the streets of Middletown, Connecticut.

According to U.S. Attorney David X. Sullivan, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, Jordan Flythe, also known as “T,” 33, formerly of Hartford, Connecticut, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Victor A. Bolden to 70 months in federal prison, to be followed by four years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to a federal narcotics offense.

According To Court Documents

According to documents and statements made during Thursday’s sentencing hearing, on March 31, 2021, Flythe was sentenced in Federal Court in Hartford, Connecticut, to 36 months in federal prison for distributing crack cocaine and fentanyl. He was released from federal prison in September 2022.

In August 2024, members of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s Hartford Task Force and the Middletown Police Department learned that Flythe was once again distributing fentanyl and other illicit narcotics throughout Middletown, Connecticut, and launched an investigation into Flythe’s activities.

Federal And Local Investigators Learn Flythe Is Dealing Drugs Again

During the investigation, from late August through November 2024, Investigators made multiple controlled purchases of fentanyl from Flythe. On December 18, 2024, following making the controlled buys, Investigators obtained and executed a court-authorized search warrant at Flythe’s residence, located on Adelaide Street in the City of Hartford. During the search, Investigators located and seized just around 240 grams of fentanyl mixed with xylazine and other substances, and around 160 grams of cocaine.

Flythe has been detained since his arrest on March 6, 2025. On June 10, 2025, Flythe pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute 40 Grams or More of a Controlled Substance, Fentanyl, and a Quantity of Cocaine.

U.S. Attorney Sullivan commends the investigative work of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s Hartford Task Force and the Middletown Police Department, which led to the arrest and successful prosecution of Flythe.
