Four Teens Injured In Monday Afternoon Jersey City Hit & Run

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- Detectives of the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are continuing the investigation into a hit-and-run collision that occurred late Monday afternoon in the Greenville section of Jersey City, New Jersey, leaving four teenage boys hospitalized.
According to Acting Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello, on Monday, October 6, 2025, just shortly after 5:00 p.m., members of the Jersey City Police Department responded to multiple individuals being struck by a motor vehicle on Wilkinson Avenue between Ocean Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the City.
Upon Arrival, Police Officers Find Four Teenage Boys Injured
Upon arrival, Police Officers located four teen boys, ages 13, 17, 15, and 17, all of Jersey City, New Jersey, suffering multiple injuries after the mopeds they were riding were struck by a sedan that fled the scene. The teenage boys were transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where they underwent treatment for various injuries. Three of the teens remain hospitalized and are listed in stable condition.
   During the ensuing investigation, the vehicle suspected of being involved in the crash was located. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
