Bicyclist Killed Monday Night In Neptune Township Collision

NEPTUNE, NJ.- On Wednesday, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago reported that Investigators of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Collision Analysis Response Unit, in conjunction with the Neptune Township Police Department, are continuing the investigation into a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred early Monday night, which claimed the life of a male Bicyclist.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, on Monday, October 6, 2025, just shortly after 7:00 p.m., members of the Neptune Township Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a bicyclist who had been struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Corlies Avenue and South Main Street in the Township.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a male bicyclist who had succumbed to injuries after being struck by a vehicle. The man whose name has been withheld was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests or charges have been filed, as Investigators continue their investigation into the circumstances that led up to the fatal collision.
