Police Seeking The Public’s Assistance In The 2022 Pleasantville Shooting Death

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ.- Detectives of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit are asking for the community’s assistance in their investigation into the shooting death of Craig Wyatt, which occurred during the late evening hours of October 4, 2022, in Pleasantville, New Jersey.
According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, shortly after 10:45 p.m., on October 4, 2022, members of the Pleasantville Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on the 200 Block of 4th Avenue in the City of Pleasantville. Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered the lifeless body of Craig Wyatt, 55, lying on the ground outside a residence, having succumbed to gunshot wounds. Mr. Wyatt was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police Asking For The Public’s Assistance
The investigation remains ongoing. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is urging members of the community to come forward with any information that may be of assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for the shooting death of Mr. Wyatt. Investigators are stating that even the smallest details may prove vital to solving this murder and bringing closure to Mr. Wyatt’s loved ones.
