Police Searching For Suspect In Early Saturday Morning Shooting Incident

PASSAIC, NJ.- The Passaic Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are actively searching for the gunman who opened fire early Saturday morning in the east end section of the City of Passaic, New Jersey.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, just shortly before 3:30 a.m., members of the Passaic Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Parker and Highland Avenues in the City of Passaic.
Police Officers Locate Shooting Crime Scene
Upon arrival, Police Officers found shell casings and evidence of a shooting crime scene at that location, but were unable to locate a victim or victims. Following canvassing the area and inquiring with area hospitals, Police Officers and Detectives determined that no one was injured in the shooting.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been reported at this time, as Detectives continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
