Police Searching For Answers In The Murder Of An Atlantic City Woman

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- Detectives of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in the death of a 34-year-old woman whose lifeless body was discovered Saturday morning inside an Atlantic City, New Jersey, residence.
According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, just shortly after 10:00 a.m., members of the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an unresponsive woman inside a residence located on the 2000 Block of Sheridan Avenue in the City.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found the body of Christina Burdette, 34, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, inside the residence. Ms. Burdette was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. The Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy and determined the Manner of Ms. Burdette’s death to be Homicide. The cause of death still remains under investigation.
