Police Charge Duo In Wednesday Night Navy Yard Stabbing

WASHINGTON, DC.- On Wednesday, a 31-year-old Washington, D.C., woman and a 29-year-old Washington, D.C., man were taken into custody and charged in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the Navy Yard section of Southeast, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at around 7:50 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s First District responded to a report of a stabbing on the 100 Block of M. Street in Southeast, D.C.
Wednesday Night Altercation Results In Stabbing
Upon arrival, Police Officers learned that two individuals had become involved in an argument with two suspects, identified as Tiana Robinson, 31, and Kenneth Evans, 29, both of Southeast, D.C., which escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, Robinson pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the victims. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the stabbing victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening stab wound.
Responding Police Officers arrested Robinson and Evans. Robinson was formally charged with one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and Evans was charged with one count of Simple Assault. Both Robinson and Evans were processed on the charges pending future court proceedings in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
