Brick Township Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Thursday, following an investigation, a 42-year-old Brick Township, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with possessing a video file depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of a child.

     According to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, Marc Fay, 42, of Brick Township, New Jersey, was formally charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography. Fay was processed on the charge and lodged in the Ocean County Jail. Following his first appearance in Ocean County Superior Court, he was released pending future court proceedings.

Arrest Is The Result Of An Online Child Pornography Probe

     The charge was a result of an online child pornography investigation that was conducted by Detectives of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and the Brick Township Police Department. During the investigation, Detectives seized Fay’s cellular phone. During a subsequent forensic examination of his cellular device, Detectives uncovered a video file depicting the sexual exploitation of a child. 

     Following the learning of the filing of the charge, Fay surrendered himself to Detectives at the Brick Township Police Department on Thursday.

     Prosecutor Billhimer commended the investigative work of the Brick Township Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad, which led to Fay’s arrest.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
