Paterson Man Stuck & Killed This Morning In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 40-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man was fatally struck by a motor vehicle at daybreak this morning near the Route 19 and Route 80 exchange in the City of Paterson, New Jersey.

     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at around 6:00 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the area of Route 80 and Route 19, in the City of Paterson. 

Police Officers Find Mr. McNeill Fatal Struck

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, identified as Damon McNeill, 40, of Paterson, New Jersey, unresponsive, having succumbed to injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Mr. McNeill was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. Police did not report whether the vehicle that fatally struck Mr. McNeill remained at the scene.
