Two People Were Tragically Killed In A Sunday Night Four-Vehicle Crash

WANAQUE, NJ.- Investigators of the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Investigations Unit and the Wanaque Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a Sunday night collision that tragically claimed the lives of a Wanaque, New Jersey, man and a New York, New York, man.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at around 9:30 p.m., members of the Wanaque Police Department responded to multiple reports of a serious multi-vehicle crash in the area of 942 Ringwood Avenue in Wanaque.
Police Officers Locate Four-Vehicle Collision
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a four-vehicle collision involving a Honda Accord, a Lexus GS-350, a Subaru Legacy, and a BMW. The Driver of the Honda Accord, identified as a 26-year-old Wanaque, New Jersey man, and the driver of the Lexus GS-350, identified as a 63-year-old New York, New York man, both sustained fatal injuries in the collision and were pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities did not report whether the other drivers or occupants were injured in the crash.
