Man Fatally Gunned Down Thursday Night In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 64-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man became the latest victim to fall prey to the continuing gun violence, after he was fatally gunned down Thursday night in the Riverside neighborhood in the City of Paterson, New Jersey.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, just minutes after 8:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Mercer and Franklin Streets in the City of Paterson.
Police Officers Find Man Shot
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a 64-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man unresponsive, having sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been reported as Detectives continue their search for the gunman and a motive for the shooting.
