Man Fatally Gunned Down This Morning On The Front Porch Of A Camden Residence

CAMDEN, NJ.- The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Camden County Police Department are continuing the search for the gunman who shot and killed a 26-year-old Camden, New Jersey, man this morning on the front porch of a Chase Street residence in Camden City, New Jersey.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, just shortly after 6:30 a.m., members of the Camden County Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 1200 Block of Chase Street in Camden City.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, identified as Premire Wilson, 26, of Camden, New Jersey, on the front porch of a residence, unresponsive, from gunshot wounds. Mr Wilson was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts, Mr. Wilson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been reported as Detectives continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of Mr. Wilson.
