One Teen Dead, Another Hospitalized In Friday Afternoon Atlantic City Shooting

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- Detectives of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and Atlantic City Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a late Friday afternoon shooting that claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy and left a 17-year-old boy hospitalized from gunshot wounds.

     According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Friday, November 7, 2025, just shortly before 5:30 p.m., members of the Atlantic City Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on the 800 Block of Arkansas Avenue in the City.

Police Officers Find Two Teens Shot, One Fatally

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located two shooting victims. A 15-year-old boy was found on the ground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The boy was immediately transported to Atlantic City Medical Center City Division, where, despite life-saving efforts, the boy succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The second victim, a 17-year-old boy, was also transported to Atlantic City Medical Center City Division, where he underwent treatment for gunshot wounds and is expected to make a full recovery.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been reported at this time.
