Warren County Woman Charged With Methamphetamine Distribution

OXFORD, NJ.- Late last month, following over a month-long investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine within the Warren County, New Jersey, area, a 47-year-old Oxford, New Jersey, woman was taken into custody and jailed after being charged with multiple narcotics offenses.
According to Acting Warren County Prosecutor Jessica L. Cardone, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, following a five-week-long narcotics investigation, Meredith T. Bergenback, 47, was taken into custody and formally charged with one count of third-degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; second-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, More than One-Half Ounce of Methamphetamine; and second-degree Distribution of More than One-Half Ounce of Methamphetamine.
Bergenback was processed on the charges and was remanded to the Warren County Correctional Center pending future court proceedings in Warren County Superior Court in Belvidere, New Jersey.
If convicted at trial, Bergenback faces up to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison on each of the second-degree charges, and up to five years on the third-degree charge.
