Woman Struck By Gunfire Late Saturday Morning In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting that left a 36-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, woman hospitalized after she was struck by gunfire late Saturday morning in the Northside neighborhood of Paterson, New Jersey.

     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, just shortly after 11:00 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of Piercy Street and Presidential Boulevard in the City of Paterson.

Police Officers Find Woman Shot Multiple Times

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a shooting crime scene and a 36-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, woman, suffering from multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The woman was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. As of Saturday night, the woman’s condition was unknown.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests were reported as Police continue their search for the suspect and a motive for the shooting.
