New York City Man & Woman Found Deceased In Atlantic City Hotel & Casino

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- Detectives of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department are continuing the investigation into an apparent murder, suicide after the lifeless bodies of a 36-year-old Staten Island, New York, woman and a 68-year-old Brooklyn, New York man were found late Sunday afternoon inside a room at an Atlantic City Hotel Casino and Spa.
According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, just shortly before 5:00 p.m., members of the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting two individuals being found deceased inside a room at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa.
Police Officers Find The Bodies Of A New York Man & Woman
Upon arrival, Police Officers found the bodies of a woman, identified as Baoyi Bowie Zheng, 36, of Staten Island, New York, and a man, identified as Wei Guo Liang, 68, of Brooklyn, New York, inside the room. Subsequent autopsies determined that Ms. Zheng died from a broken neck and Mr. Liang died from self-inflicted stab wounds.
