GLEN ROCK, NJ.- Last Saturday, following a two-month investigation, a 43-year-old Hawthorne, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with a cyber-harassment scheme that targeted multiple individuals.

According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, in September 2025, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit was notified of a pattern of obscene online messages that were sent to various individuals, and an investigation was launched.

Investigation Uncovers Greig Sent Porn To Seven People

During the investigation, Detectives determined that Christopher J. Greig, 43, of Hawthorne, New Jersey, used the internet to send pornography and obscene messages to seven victims on numerous occasions beginning in July 2025 and lasting through September 2025.

Accordingly, on Friday, November 21, 2025, Detectives formally charged Greig with seven counts of fourth-degree Cyber-Harassment, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Saturday, November 22, 2025, members of the Glen Rock Police Department located and arrested Greig. He was processed on the charges and was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending future court proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
