Avonmore Man Pleads Guilty To Producing & Possessing Child Pornography

JOHNSTOWN, PA.- Last Monday, a 54-year-old Avonmore, Pennsylvania, man learned he will be facing up to thirty years in federal prison when sentenced, after pleading guilty to four counts of violating federal child pornography laws.
According to First Assistant U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti, on Monday, November 24, 2025, Kenneth Bee, 54, of Avonmore, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Srephanie L. Haines to counts one through four of a federal information charging him with violations of child sex crime laws.
Bee Will Be Facing 15 Years To 30 Years In Federal Prison
After entering his guilty plea on Monday, Judge Haines accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for March 24, 2026. At that time, Bee faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to 30 years in federal prison, at least 5 years, and up to a lifetime of supervised release, plus a $250,000 fine.
During his plea allocution, Judge Haines was advised that Bee, over several years, enticed and produced digital images of a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Judge Haines was further advised that during the investigation, Investigators uncovered that in and around September 2022, Bee utilized the internet to view, download, and possess digital images of prepubescent children engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
First Assistant U.S. Attorney Rivetti commended the investigative work of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Armstrong and Indiana County District Attorney’s Offices, which led to Bee’s guilty plea on Monday.
