NORTHVALE, NJ.- A 28-year-old Harrington Park, New Jersey, man learned he will be nearly 80 years old when he is released from New Jersey State Prison, after pleading guilty earlier this month, to the murder of his co-worker that occurred in October 2021, inside a Northvale, New Jersey bicycle business.

According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Friday, December 12, 2025, Christian V. Giron, 28, of Harrington Park, New Jersey, appeared in Bergen County Superior Court and pleaded guilty before Superior Court Judge Christopher R. Kazlau to one count of first-degree Murder in connection with the murder of Jeanette A. Williams.

Giron Will Be Facing Five Decades In Prison When Sentenced

In return for the guilty plea, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office will recommend that Giron be sentenced to fifty years in State Prison, subject to the No Early Release Act, which will require Giron to serve 85% of his custodial term before becoming eligible for parole. Following entering his guilty plea, Judge Kazlau accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for February 6, 2026.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at around 8:15 a.m., members of the Northvale Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a severely injured woman inside a business located on Ludlow Avenue in Northvale, New Jersey.

Upon arrival, Responding Police Officers found the lifeless body of 43-year-old Jeanette A. Williams, having succumbed to an injury to her head. Ms. Williams was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.

During the initial investigation at the time, Detectives of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Northvale Police Department quickly identified Giron as the suspect who struck Ms. Williams over the head with a hammer inside the business. Within hours of the murder, Detectives located and arrested Giron.
