FREEHOLD, NJ.- On Wednesday, a 45-year-old Jackson Township, New Jersey, woman, formerly employed as a Freehold Borough Middle School Teacher, learned she will be spending over a decade in New Jersey State Prison, after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting her teenage student in 2024.
According to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago, on Wednesday, January 21, 2025, Allison Havemann-Niedrach, 45, of Brick Township, New Jersey, appeared in Monmouth County Superior Court and pleaded guilty before Superior Court Judge Jill G. O’Malley to one count of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault.
In return for the guilty plea, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office will recommend that Havemann-Niedrach be sentenced to a term of twelve years in New Jersey State Prison, subject to the No Early Release Act, which will require Havemann-Niedrach to serve 85% of her custodial term before becoming eligible for parole. In addition to the term of imprisonment, will be subject to parole supervision for life and be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law restraints.
Following Havemann-Niedrach entering her guilty plea, Judge O’Malley accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for Thursday, May 7, 2026, in Monmouth County Superior Court.
The guilty plea stems from a March 2025 Grand Jury indictment that had alleged that beginning in January 2024, and lasting through June 2024, Havemann-Niedrach engaged in an inappropriate sexual relationship with her teenage male student.
Monmouth County Prosecutor Santiago commended the investigative work of Detectives of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Bureau and the Freehold Borough Police Department, which led to Havemann-Niedrach’s guilty plea on Wednesday.Â
