CAMDEN, NJ.- On Wednesday, a 53-year-old Matamoras, Pennsylvania, man learned he could be facing up to two decades in federal prison when sentenced, after pleading guilty in Federal Court in Camden, New Jersey, to possessing video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of prepubescent children.

According to U.S. Senior Counsel Philip Lamparello, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, Edwin Isaacson, IV, 53, of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Court Judge Renee Marie Bumb to a federal information charging him with one count of Possession of Child Pornography.

Following entering his guilty plea, Judge Bumb accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for June 9, 2026. At that time, Isaacson faces a mandatory minimum of five years and up to 20 years in federal prison, at least four years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000.

According to the charging information filed with the District Court, on April 23, 2025, Isaacson was found at Newark Liberty International Airport after arriving on an international flight in possession of at least 28 video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of prepubescent children engaging in illicit sexual conduct.

U.S. Senior Counsel commended the investigative work of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations, which led to Isaacson’s apprehension and Wednesday’s guilty plea.
