According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera, and as previously reported, on Sunday, December 7, 2026, shortly after 10:30 a.m., members of the South Brunswick Police Department responded to a request to conduct a welfare check at a home located on Redwood Court in South Brunswick.

Upon arrival, Police Officers made entry into the home, where they discovered Veronica Jones, 47, of South Brunswick, New Jersey, unresponsive inside the home. Ms. Jones was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
