Glassboro Borough Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

GLASSBORO, NJ.- Last Tuesday, following a months-long investigation, a 26-year-old Glassboro, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and charged in connection with possessing and sharing digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of children.
On October 7, 2025, Detectives of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an individual who was utilizing an online Social Media application to view, possess, upload, and share media files containing child pornography.
During the ensuing investigation, Detectives identified Jonathan Torres, 26, of Glassboro, New Jersey, as the owner of the Social Media account. On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Detectives and Investigators executed a court-authorized search warrant at Torres’ Glassboro residence. During the search, Investigators recovered several electronic devices.
During an initial examination of the devices, Investigators uncovered five video files and one digital image depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of children. Upon the discovery of the child pornography, Torres was taken into custody and formally charged with one count of third-degree Possession of Child Pornography.
Torres was processed on the charge pending future court proceedings in Gloucester County Superior Court in Woodbury, New Jersey. Authorities did not report if Torres was detained on the charge.
