HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Monday, a 55-year-old Mays Landing, New Jersey, man and local meth dealer learned he would be spending the next decade in New Jersey State Prison after being sentenced for narcotics offenses.

According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Monday, February 9, 2026, Thomas Collet, 55, of the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township, New Jersey, appeared in Atlantic County Superior Court and was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Donna M. Taylor to 10 years in State Prison after previously pleading guilty to New Jersey State narcotics offenses.

Collet previously appeared in Atlantic County Superior Court and pleaded guilty before Judge Taylor to an indictment charging him with one count of first-degree Maintaining a Narcotics Production Facility; and first-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Methamphetamine.

The guilty plea and sentence stem from a narcotics investigation, when on November 27, 2024, Detectives of the Hamilton Township Police Department and the Atlantic County SWAT executed a court-authorized search warrant at Collet’s Mays Landing residence. During the search, Detectives located and seized more than 12 ounces of methamphetamine.

During Collet’s previous plea allocution, he admitted to using his home to prepare, process, package, and distribute quantities of methamphetamine to others.
