Atlantic City Woman Pleads Guilty To Distributing Illicit Narcotics

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- Last Thursday, a 40-year-old Atlantic City, New Jersey, woman will be facing a New Jersey State Prison term when sentenced next month after pleading guilty to a drug offense.
According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, Jessica Lugo, 40, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, appeared in Atlantic County Superior Court and pleaded guilty before Superior Court Judge Dorothy Incarvito-Garrabrant to one count of second-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Cocaine.
In return for the guilty plea, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office will recommend that Lugo be sentenced to five years in State Prison. Following entering her guilty plea, Judge Incarvito-Garrabrant accepted the plea and scheduled Lugo to be sentenced on March 19, 2026.
   The guilty plea stems from an incident that began on March 20, 2025, when Detectives of the Atlantic City Police Department spotted Lugo in the area of 3501 Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City. Detectives knew that Lugo had outstanding warrants for her arrest. Detectives took her into custody, and during the arrest, Detectives found Lugo to be in possession of 15 grams of crack cocaine, along with empty wax folds and a glass crack pipe.Â
