ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- On Monday, April 28, 2025, Darrick Mallory, 54, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, appeared in Atlantic County Superior Court and was sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison after having pleading guilty to first-degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Cocaine.

According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on June 2, 2022, during an ongoing narcotics investigation, Atlantic County law enforcement investigators executed a court-authorized search warrant at Mallory’s residence located at 711 Harris Place in Atlantic City. During the search, Mallory was taken into custody.

A subsequent search of the residence and Mallory’s vehicles led to the discovery of around 1.3 pounds of cocaine, THC edibles, over 3 pounds of illicit marijuana, and approximately 22 grams of psilocybin mushrooms. Additionally, investigators located and seized $6,558.00 in cash and assorted items of drug paraphernalia, including digital scales and hundreds of vials that are used to package cocaine, marijuana, and mushrooms for street-level narcotics sales.

When investigators searched Mallory’s cellular phone, they uncovered multiple digital images of cocaine being cooked into crack cocaine on a stove inside the kitchen of 711 Harris Place in the City.
