According to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, Hunter Roy, 26, of Maple Shade, New Jersey, was formally charged with one count of first-degree Distribution of Child Pornography; one count of third-degree Distribution of Child Pornography; one count of second-degree Possession of Child Pornography; third-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Child Pornography; and third-degree Debauching the Morals of a Minor.

Investigation Uncovers Child Porn And Sex With Dogs

The charges are a result of an investigation that began when members of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding Roy’s online activities. During the investigation, Detectives determined that Roy had accessed the internet to distribute more than 9,000 digital images of child pornography. Detectives further uncovered that Roy was communicating in a sexual manner with an underage boy to whom he sent files containing child pornography.

During the execution of a court-authorized search warrant at Roy’s Maple Shade residence, Detectives seized multiple electronic devices. An initial forensic examination of the device uncovered thousands of items depicting the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children. Detectives further uncovered video files that Roy had made of himself engaging in sexual acts with a Rottweiler and a smaller dog; he then traded those videos online with others engaging in sexual acts with dogs.
