PITTSBURGH, PA.- A 37-year-old Sharon, Pennsylvania, man is facing up to 40 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to selling fentanyl and cocaine near an elementary school and next to a daycare facility within the Western District of Pennsylvania.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti, on Monday, May 19, 2025, Larry Marrow, 37, of Sharon, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Robert J. Colville to Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances, Cocaine, and Fentanyl Within a 1,000 Feet of a Playground, School, or Public Housing.

Marrow Is Facing Up To 40 Years When Sentenced

Following entering his guilty plea on Monday, Judge Colville accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for September 30, 2025. At that time, Marrow faces a mandatory minimum of one year and up to 40 years in federal prison, at least three years of supervised release, and up to a $2 million fine. At sentencing, a U.S. District Court Judge will determine the term of imprisonment based on the seriousness of the offense and Marrow’s prior criminal history.

According to the charging information filed with the District Court, on July 6, 2023, Marrow possessed and distributed quantities of fentanyl and cocaine in and around an elementary school and a daycare facility within the Mercer County, Pennsylvania, area.

Acting U.S. Attorney Rivetti commended the investigative work of the Mercer County Drug Task Force, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General for the investigation, which led to Marrow’s guilty plea.
