According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on May 9, 2025, the Middlesex County College Police Department received a call reporting a man performing lewd acts in the lobby of a college building on the Edison campus.

Goines, Jr., was observed by video camera surveillance footage performing lewd acts in front of students.
