THREE PALESTINIAN GUNMEN OPEN FIRE ON ISRAELIS STUCK IN TRAFFIC NEAR JERUSALEM WEST BANK CHECKPOINT

JERUSALEM, ISR.- Three Palestinian Gunmen exited their car and Opened Fire early Thursday Morning just outside a busy Checkpoint in The Israeli-Occupied West Bank, leaving an Israeli man Dead and Eleven others Wounded, One Seriously. Following the shooting Israeli Police Kill all Three Gunmen.

     The Attack occurred amid Israel’s War with Hamas in The Gaza Strip. Over the past few weeks, there has been an escalation in violence in The West Bank on The Border with Lebanon. Hours before the Shooting, a home in Northern Israel was Struck by a missile fired from Lebanon. Another missile fired by Houthis in Yemen on Thursday Targeted the Southern Israel City of Eilat.

     Two Israelis were Killed in a Terror Attack

Today’s Attack comes just days after Two Israelis were Killed in a Terror Attack on Friday in Southern Israel. Officials are concerned may increase during The March 10th start to The Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan which has historically led to Unrest in Jerusalem.

     On Thursday, according to Police Officials, Three Gunmen from The Bethlehem Area in The West Bank opened fire on lines of cars waiting during their morning commute to pass through the Checkpoint dividing The West Bank and Israel. The Gunmen Fired with automatic weapons at cars until they were killed by Israeli Police Officers.

     Israeli West Bank Settlers have complained for years about the Delays and Dangerous Conditions at the Checkpoints. Palestinian Leaders, The U.S., and others have objected to the construction of Bypass Roads near Jerusalem due to concerns that they would make the prospects of a Palestinian State in the territory more remote.

     Since the outbreak of The Israel-Hamas War on October 7, 2024, Israeli forces have conducted raids on suspected terrorist cells in The West Bank, and have revoked the Work Permits of Hundreds of Thousands of Palestinians who worked in Israel. Today, Israeli Arrest Operations were conducted in The SWest Bank Cities of Tulkarm, Jenin, and the Hebron area. Since October 7th nearly 400 Palestinians and 13 Israelis have been killed in the occupied territory.
