Readington Township Prostitution Investigation Yields Four Arrests

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Friday, June 6, 2025, following an investigation into illicit prostitution activities at a Readington Township, New Jersey, spa, four people were taken into custody and charged with prostitution offenses.

     According to Hunterdon County Renee M. Robeson, In response to community concerns regarding alleged prostitution activities, a three-week investigation was launched. During the investigation, Detectives of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Reading Township Police Department found probable cause to believe the crimes of prostitution were being committed at the Auroro 1 spa, located at 1 Old Highway 28 in the Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.

     On Friday, June 6, 2025, as a result of the investigation, Detectives executed a court-authorized search warrant at the spa. During the search, Detectives seized items of evidentiary value and took four individuals into custody.

Charges Filed Against All Four

     Accordingly, Li Saihong, 35, Chunhua Lai, 33, and Jinhua Hua, 47, all of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, were each charged with one count of a Disorderly Persons Offense of Engaging in Prostitution; and one county of fourth-degree Engaging in Prostitution for Financial Gain. Li Saihong was additionally charged with a Disorderly Persons Offense of Resisting Arrest. Christopher M. Zwarybh, 40, of Blairstown, New Jersey, was formally charged with a Disorderly Persons Offence of Engaging In Prostitution.

     All four were processed on the charges and were released on summons complaints pending future court proceedings.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
