MOUNT HOLLY, NJ.- A 33-year-old Mount Holly, New Jersey, man will be facing up to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison when sentenced after being found guilty last Thursday, in connection with the stabbing death of a 30-year-old Brick Township, New Jersey, man that occurred behind a convenience store in September of 2021.
According to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, following a trial in Burlington County Superior Court, a jury deliberated for just two hours before finding Jimir Wynn, 33, of Mount Holly, New Jersey, guilty of first-degree Aggravated Manslaughter; third-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and fourth-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Sentencing in the matter will be scheduled at a time and date to be determined by the court.
The conviction stems from an investigation that began during the afternoon hours of September 7, 2021, when members of the Mount Holly Township Police Department responded to a report of a man’s body being found behind Millerie’s Market & Deli located at the corner of Rancocas Road and King Street in the Township.
Guilty Verdict Stems From A Joint Investigation
During the ensuing investigation, the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Sean Reynolds, 30, of Brick Township, New Jersey, and determined the Cause of Death to be multiple stab wounds and the Manner of Death to be Homicide.
Further investigation by Detectives of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Mount Holly Township Police Department, with assistance from the Westampton Police Department, the Pemberton Township Police Department, and the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office, uncovered that Reynolds was stabbed to death on the night of September 6, 2021, and that Reynolds was with Wynn near Wynn’s home earlier that evening and were able to link Wynn to Reynolds’ stabbing death.
As a result of the investigation, Detectives found probable cause to believe that Wynn had fatally stabbed Mr. Reynolds on the night of September 6, 2021, and he was taken into custody and formally charged.
