Huntington’s “Reala Deala” Pleads Guilty To Federal Drug Crime

HUNTINGTON, W.VA.- A 36-year-old Huntington, West Virginia, man, and a local Huntington drug dealer, learned he could be potentially facing up to 20 years in federal prison after pleading guilty on Monday to a federal narcotics offense.
According to Acting U.S. Attorney Lisa G. Johnson, on Monday, July 7, 2025, Robert Curtis Denham, also known as “Reala Deala” and “RD,” 36, of Huntington, West Virginia, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Robert C. Chambers to Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Fentanyl.
Following entering his guilty plea, Judge Chambers accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for October 20, 2025. At that time, Denham faces a mandatory minimum of five years and a maximum of 20 years in federal prison, as well as at least three years of supervised release and a $1 million fine. At sentencing, a U.S. District Court Judge will determine the term of imprisonment based on the seriousness of the offense and Denham’s prior criminal history.
According To Court Documents
According to charging documents and statements made in the District Court, on October 30, 2024, during an investigation into the distribution of illicit narcotics within the Huntington, West Virginia, area, Denham sold a quantity of fentanyl to a confidential informant at his Huntington apartment, during a controlled buy under the observation of law enforcement.
Denham Admits To Selling Fentanyl To A Confidential Informant
During his plea allocution, Denham admitted to conducting the transaction and arranging it beforehand with the informant. Denham further admitted to selling additional quantities of fentanyl in his pattern of criminal conduct.
   Acting U.S. Attorney Johnston commended the investigative work of the Huntington Violent Crime and Drug Task Force and the Huntington Police Department, which led to Denham’s guilty plea on Monday.Â
