Man Fatally Gunned Down Wednesday Afternoon In Gloucester Township

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Detectives of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Gloucester Township Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a 53-year-old man, who was fatally gunned down Wednesday afternoon in a Gloucester Township, New Jersey, apartment complex.

     According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, just shortly before 5:00 p.m., members of the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to 911 Emergency Calls reporting a person being shot at the Lakeview Apartment complex located on the 500 Block of Lower Landing Road in the Township.

Police Officers Find Man Shot Dead In The Doorway

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, later identified as Anthony Sanflippo, 53, of Gloucester Township, New Jersey, in the doorway of his apartment, having succumbed to a gunshot wound. Mr. Sanflippo was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made.
