SCRANTON, PA.- On Wednesday, a 46-year-old Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania man will be spending the next decade in federal prison after being sentenced for distributing large quantities of methamphetamine throughout the Middle District of Pennsylvania, specifically the Monroe County area.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Robert Stull, 46, of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Joseph F. Saporito to 120 months in federal prison, to be followed by five years supervised release after pleading guilty to a federal narcotics trafficking offense.

Stull previously appeared in Federal Court in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and pleaded guilty before Judge Saporito to one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute 500 Grams or More of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine.

According To Court Documents

According to the charging documents filed with the District Court, on September 12, 2024, during an ongoing narcotics investigation, Investigators executed a court-authorized search warrant at Stull’s Saylorsburg home after he had been identified as a large-scale distributor of illicit narcotics. During the search, Investigators located and seized a large quantity of methamphetamine, around a kilogram of cocaine, several pounds of marijuana, several items of drug paraphernalia consistent with drug packaging activities, over $22,000 in U.S. currency, multiple firearms, and various explosive devices.

During his previous plea allocution, Stull admitted to possessing the methamphetamine and that he intended to distribute it. Stull also admitted to possessing over a kilogram of cocaine with the intent to sell it, and the cash that was seized from his home was the proceeds of illicit narcotics sales.

Acting U.S. Attorney Gurganus commended the investigative work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Office of the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, which led to the successful prosecution of Stull.
