NEW HAVEN, CT.- A 39-year-old Waterbury, Connecticut, man, and leader of a Waterbury drug trafficking organization, will spend the next five years in federal prison, after being sentenced on Monday, for a federal firearms violation.

According to U.S. Attorney David X. Sullivan, on Monday, August 11, 2025, Robert Harrison, also known as “Firm” and “Lox,” 39, of Waterbury, Connecticut, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in New Haven, Connecticut, and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Victor A. Bolden to 60 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to a federal drug-related firearms violation.

Harrison, who has remained in custody since his June 20, 2024, arrest on Connecticut State charges, appeared in federal court on April 14, 2025, and pleaded guilty to Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime.

According To Court Documents

According to the charging documents filed with the District Court, between March and June of 2024, members of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Haven Drug Task Force and the Waterbury Police Department launched an investigation into a drug trafficking organization headed by Harrison. During the investigation, Investigators made eight controlled purchases of illicit narcotics from Harrison and his associates.

On June 20, 2024, following the controlled purchases, Investigators obtained and executed court-authorized search warrants at locations connected to Harrison’s drug trafficking organization. During the search at Harrison’s residence on Frost Road, his auto repair business on Todd Hollow Road in Waterbury, Connecticut, and a recording studio he operated on Woodtick Road in Waterbury, Investigators located and seized more than 370 grams of cocaine, narcotics pills, four loaded handguns, ammunition magazines, numerous rounds of ammunition, and approximately $18,208 in U.S. currency.

U.S. Attorney Sullivan commended the investigative work of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Waterbury Police Department, which led to the successful prosecution of Harrison.
