Police Search For Suspect Wanted In Last Thursday’s Northwest Stabbing

WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred last Thursday on 7th Street in Northwest, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Thursday, August 7, 2025, just shortly after 5:30 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing on the 1100 Block of 7th Street in Northwest, D.C. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound.
The man was immediately transported by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim was treated and released and continues to recover at home.
During the ensuing investigation, Police Officers learned that the suspect and the victim were involved in an altercation, which escalated with the suspect pulling out a knife and stabbing the victim, and then fleeing the scene. During further investigation, Detectives were able to recover area video surveillance footage that captured the suspect and can be seen in the above video.
