MOUNT HOLLY, NJ.- A 33-year-old Mount Holly, New Jersey, man will be spending the next three decades in New Jersey State Prison, after being sentenced on Friday for his conviction in the brutal stabbing death of a 30-year-old Brick Township, New Jersey, man behind a Mount Holly deli in 2021.
According to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw, on Friday, August 15, 2025, Jimir Wynn, 33, formerly of Mount Holly, New Jersey, appeared in Burlington County Superior Court and was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Aimee Belgard to 30 years in New Jersey State Prison for his June 2025 conviction.
Judge Belgard Orders Wynn’s 30-Year Sentence To Be Subject To The No Early Release Act
In handing down the sentence on Friday, Judge Belgard ordered the sentence to be subject to the No Early Release Act, which will require Wynn to serve 85% of his custodial term before becoming eligible for parole.
Wynn Was Convicted In June 2025 For The Fatal Stabbing
In June 2025, following a trial in Burlington County Superior Court, the jury deliberated for just two hours before finding Wynn guilty of the charges of first-degree Aggravated Manslaughter; third-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and fourth-degree Unlawful Possession.
The conviction and Friday’s sentence stem from an investigation that began during the afternoon hours of September 7, 2021, when members of the Mount Holly Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting the deceased body of a man being found behind Millerie’s Market & Deli located at the corner of Rancocas Road and King Street in the Township.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found the body of Sean Reynolds, 30, of Brick Township, New Jersey. An autopsy performed by the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the Cause of Death to be Multiple Stab Wounds and the Manner of Death to be Homicide. During the investigation, Detectives of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Mount Holly Township Police Department were able to develop information linking Wynn to the stabbing death of Mr. Reynolds.
“We are grateful to the court for imposing this sentence,” Prosecutor Bradshaw said. “This was an extremely violent attack. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family and hope this result will bring them some degree of comfort.”
