Man Fatally Gunned Down Monday Night In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 33-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man became the latest victim to fall prey to the continuing gun violence plaguing the streets of the City of Paterson, after he was fatally gunned down Labor Day night in downtown Paterson, New Jersey.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Monday, September 1, 2025, just minutes before 8:30 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Pennington Street and Park Avenue in the City of Paterson.
Upon Arrival, Police Officers Find Man Shot Dead
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 33-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man having succumbed to a gunshot wound. The man was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene by Paterson Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue the search for the gunman and a motive for the shooting.
