South Brunswick Man Charged With Grouping A Child

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ.- On Sunday, a 47-year-old South Brunswick, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and charged with allegedly inappropriately fondling a child at a North Brunswick, New Jersey, movie theater.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, following a swift-moving investigation, Nishith Koreka, 47, of South Brunswick, New Jersey, was taken into custody and formally charged with third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact.
Koreka was processed on the charges and was released on monitoring conditions pending future court proceedings in Middlesex County Superior Court in New Brunswick, New Jersey. If convicted at trial, Koreka is facing up to five years in New Jersey State Prison.
During The Investigation, Detectives Uncover Child Sex Crimes
The charges stem from an investigation that began on Sunday, September 7, 2025, when the North Brunswick Police Department received a report of alleged child sex crimes. During a subsequent investigation, Detective Christopher Van Eerde of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and Detective Sean Gaither of the North Brunswick Police Department determined that Koreka inappropriately touched a child multiple times while watching a movie at the Regal Commerce Center in North Brunswick, New Jersey.
