Third Arrest Made In 2024 D.C. Deadly Shooting Homicide

Police Charge Man In Last Summer’s Southeast Quadruple Shooting Homicide

WASHINGTON, DC.- Last Thursday, a 21-year-old Washington, D.C., man was taken into custody, pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, and jailed after being charged in connection with gunning down four individuals, two fatally, last summer in Southeast, D.C.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Thursday, July 18, 2024, just shortly before 11:30 a.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, while on routine patrol, responded to the 2200 Block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast, D.C., after hearing multiple gunshots.

Police Find Two Men Shot Dead, And A Man, And A Teen Girl Injured

     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered four shooting victims, two of the victims, Lamont Street, 29, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, and Jermaine Proctor, 50, of Southeast, D.C., had succumbed to gunshot wounds and were subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services. The other two victims, an adult male and a juvenile girl, were transported to local hospitals, where they were treated and released and have made a full recovery.

     During the ensuing investigation, D.C. Homicide Branch Detectives determined that multiple suspects pulled up in a vehicle, jumped out, and began firing toward the men, fatally striking Mr. Proctor and Mr. Street and injuring the other two individuals.

     Detectives were able to identify the shooters as Andre Greene, 25, of Southeast, D.C., Jordan McClaine, 17, of Southeast, D.C., and Dionzai Parker, 21, also of Southeast, D.C., and warrants were issued for their arrests.

    On Thursday, November 7, 2024, members of the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located Greene and placed him under arrest pursuant to the D.C. Superior Court warrant charging one count of first-degree Premeditated Murder While Armed and related Weapons and Assault charges. Greene was processed on the charges and remanded to the D.C. Central Detention Facility.

     On Sunday, July 27, 2025, pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court bench warrant, McClaine was located and taken into custody and charged as an adult under Title 16 with first-degree Premeditated Murder While Armed. He was processed on the charge and was remanded to the D.C. Central Detention Facility.

     On Thursday, September 18, 2025, pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Fugitive Unit located Parker and transported him to the Homicide Branch, where he was formally charged with one count of first-degree Premeditated Murder While Armed and related Weapons and Assault charges. Parker, following being processed on the charges, was remanded to the D.C. Central Detention Facility pending future court proceedings in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing as Detectives continue their search for additional suspects.
