Old Bridge Couple Found Dead Tuesday Morning Inside Their Home

OLD BRIDGE, NJ.- Middlesex County law enforcement is continuing the investigation into the fatal stabbings of a 63-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, both of Old Bridge, New Jersey, who were found dead late Tuesday morning in what Investigators believe was an apparent murder-suicide.

     According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, just shortly before 11:45 a.m., members of the Old Bridge Police Department responded to a request to conduct a welfare check at a home located on Ticetown Road in Old Bridge.

Police Officers Discover A Man And Woman Dead Inside The Home

     Upon arrival, Police Officers made entry into the home and discovered the lifeless bodies of Jamie A. Nowakowska, 63, of Old Bridge, New Jersey, and Nancy Misura, 54, also of Old Bridge, New Jersey, inside the residence, both having succumbed from apparent stab wounds. The deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide, pending the results of an autopsy. Police have released an approximate time of the deaths or the relationship between Mr. Nowakowska and Ms. Misura.
