Police Are Actively Investigating The Death Of A Clifton Baby Girl

CLIFTON, NJ.- Detectives of the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Clifton Police Department are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a baby girl, who was found unresponsive on Wednesday afternoon inside a Clifton, New Jersey, residence.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, just shortly after 3:30 p.m., members of the Clifton Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a 4-month-old infant girl being found unresponsive inside a residence located in the area of Ackerman Avenue and Milosh Street in Clifton, New Jersey.
Police Officers Find The Baby Girl Unresponsive
Upon arrival, Police Officers found the baby girl inside the home, unresponsive. The infant was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, where, despite life-saving efforts, the baby girl was pronounced deceased shortly before 4:30 p.m.
   The investigation remains active and ongoing.
